It has frozen over and died,
While cases have multiplied.
Out here people are suffering,
The lack of action disgusting.
Got people raising their hands in prayers,
While congress is out of cares.
Should be raising a finger instead,
And leave all their careers dead.

No wonder the country is pissed,
And we can’t just get along,
Been talking since fucking May yet shit hasn’t been done.
And that is the fucking issue,
With all these elected officials,
So damn self serving,
Still collecting checks and getting fat.
While the ones that trusted you,
Choosing between bills and selling the cat,
Or watching their kids starve and wither away.
You bastards ain’t done shit,
This ain’t Burger King,
You can’t always fucking have it your way.
These are lives you are fucking with,
And the damage has been done.
